thai / malaysian food (yum!)

my friends and i went out to Sentosa's which has amazing thai/malaysian food.  and so we ate so much that lucy d. had to take some home with her since it would've been a shame to throw food away especially during times of recession!

Ukranian Breakfast -- Sex on Fire

Ukranian Breakfast with Fanny J.
we woke up early go to watch the King Of Leons at the NBC Rockefeller Center in the city. However, the rain was pouring and the line was like 2 blocks (1 ave. and 1 street) long.  However, we sill stuck around for sound check around 7:oo am.  but they weren't going to play until like 9:00 am and we were both so hungry so we went downtown for some food.  however, nothing is open at 8:00 and we wanted some japanese udon!  so we went to get some polish/ukranian food since we never had it before.  and it was sort of good, i guess.  the food looked better than it tasted.

zoo with gina m.
it was so much fun looking at the differ animals!  and we went to all the exhibitions without paying extra for the congo, monorail rides, and other additional fees!  why?  because gina m. had a membership card for a free guest.  next week, we will go to the aquarium!  woot!

was obama's comment of "acting stupidly" harsh? no, it was perfectly accurate.

stupid fuckers (i.e. Cambridge police officers.)

national geographic

national geographic is an amazing magazine. i always read it when i am at my orthodontist's office and the articles are purely and always interesting. and the photos are beyond incredible. i wish i can sit in their camera closet one day and browse through all the lenses and bodies. jesus, i need a life. anyhow, so today, i was looking through national geographic's photographic book with their top portraits of people and places. and dear lord, i wanted to marry the book and the people in it. even one of the pictures made me cry. it was this boy from this village and there was this driver that passed through his farm and killed like half of his sheep. it was a huge loss of profit for his family. and the photographer actually took pictures of the little boy crying with his father in the background trying to gather what had happened. anyhow, i know my language is less than eloquent but my goodness, the photograph was so intense. and i felt like i was in the photograph, as though the emotions in the boy had suddenly overcame me. anyhow, i wished i can be such a photographer one day.
